A (Family) Portrait

I decided to take a camera and simple lighting rig over to my Grandparents the other day to practice some lighting techniques. We ended up having a lot of fun and I actually got some GREAT pictures of my Nan. She has, as many of us do, a 'photo face', that is not her natural smile and only comes out in front of a camera. I think it's always easier to take photos of family as you can really put them at ease and have fun. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I love these pictures of my Grandad and the comfortable, real Nan.
